Aries:  Changes in career and lifestyle are already happening. You can see them evolving.  As the year begins, your creative ventures are on hold.  You may have already backed off of a romantic relationship for the present.  Those with children have concerns, but will be in a "wait and see" mode.  Things don't feel quite right to you for starting new plans, so you will choose to be still through the first quarter.  Even so, there may be a drama or two near the end of Jan., early Feb., concerning a relationship, romantic or otherwise.  The Other wants to know if you are "in" or "out" and may ask for a commitment, but you are simply not ready to be pressured.  During the month of April, you will be ready to decide whether the situation is worth the effort required to help it work.  Be prepared for additional expenses in May.  Watch the heavy accelerator foot through the summer. You will be fatigued with waiting for changes and ready to launch forward. Think carefully because this might be premature by several months.  The issue of relationship(s) becomes prominent again in Sep. when there is considerable pressure from political or worldly circumstances manipulating the scene in your personal life.  Underneath the flow of activity, you can sense a developing rebellion.  It may be most intense during June and July.  That is a taste of what is to come in 2011.  Take particularly good care of your health during the last quarter of the year.  Your physical cycle may be sluggish, so take your vitamins and get plenty of sleep.

Taurus: 
Your perspective and philosophy are being pressured to grow, whether or not you wish it.  You may now be dealing with persons of cultures or backgrounds very different from yours, which expands the mind to recognize and come to appreciate other points of view, including religious.  Times that are punctuated include late Jan, early Feb, early to mid-Mar,  mid-Apr, much of May, and August.  Mercury turns retrograde in your sign in mid-April through May.  It is better not to make long lasting decisions during this period.  Personal relationships may be challenging and a bit messy, with no clear sense of resolution until latter August. You may part from the situation, but then go back for another try later. In Aug a new beginning, whether at home or at work, will help you sort things out in the relationship.  In the last quarter of the year your ruling planet, Venus, will be retrograde.  You could back out of relationships altogether or feel drawn to return to a former situation.  The downside is that we tend to revert to outmoded relationship patterns when Venus is retrograde.  The upside is that we have time to process and recognize what needs to be released.  Your daily routine is being challenged.  You are asked to diet, exercise, and otherwise take care of your body.  You will feel the need to organize everything around you, which will quiet your mind.  Work will be more demanding with less reward, but this won't last forever.
 

Gemini: The year begins with your ruling planet, Mercury, retrograding in Capricorn.  Issues concerning debt, insurance, inheritance, or family resources are under pressure, yet it is difficult to conclude things until after the end of Jan.  If you are of childbearing age, you may be pressured to make a difficult decision this year.  In Feb you may experience a confrontation or even a departure related to siblings.  Drive and handle tools carefully in Feb.  Anything that happens in Feb related to Mars, the god of war, will resurface in June, Sep, and Dec before the issue is resolved.  Mercury will retrograde in Taurus during April and May.  You will likely choose to reduce social activity so you can have time to collect yourself, meditate, and contemplate.  It is possible that people and/or memories from your past will become a focus of attention during this period.  Gemini's love travel and there are multiple times when you may choose to do so:  early Feb, mid-Mar, early Oct, later Oct, and Late Nov.  In Dec Mercury once again retrogrades in Capricorn, as it did at the first of '10.  There may be more to review and handle concerning debt, insurance, inheritance, or family resources.

Cancer: The theme of your life has been shifting to a focus on your partner(s) and your closest inner circle of friends and family.  It is possible that you are moving toward developing a new partner-like relationship during this year, even if it is with the same person.  You are always more sensitive and emotional during eclipse seasons, so it is best to be aware of them.  There was an eclipse on Dec. 31, followed by its partner on Jan 15, 2010.  The next set begins on June 26 through July 11.   An unusual third series begins on 12/21.  Prepare for these eclipses by taking good care of your physical health  so that your body does not overreact to these energies.  Late Apr and early May could be a tough spot, especially for physical and emotional health.  In late May someone crosses your path who helps you see the value of who you are.  If you are available, this might be a new lover.  During June and July you will see a glimpse of career changes to come in 2011.  Issues concerning home, hearth, and family are prominent during the first quarter and again in Aug.  Aging property or people must be tended.  Some of you will feel in need of downsizing or discarding excesses.  Changes related to partners  may generate a metamorphosis in your overall life.
 

Leo:  Mars, the ancient god of war, is retrograding in your sign through the first quarter of this year.  The energy is similar to gunning the accelerator while your foot is on the brake.  There are a lot of ideas in the air, but it is not yet time to drive forward.  A shocking event related to a partner or associate in late Jan, early Feb, may convince you to use this time to do good things for your body.  At first it will seem as though your effort is fruitless, but by the second quarter you will show the results of habit changes.  Decisions and resolutions to issues that began at the beginning of the year will conclude in May.  You never would have believed it could take so long.  There is some stress or confusion about the direction of a partner that continues through the year.  Times that are particularly targeted include early Feb, May, August, and Nov.  Throughout the year you will feel the need to improve your education and communications.  The demand is fairly practical and urges you to attend to the matter with efficiency.  The scenario may be required for work purposes or you could be attending a formal school to update education.  This is necessary and may be somewhat scary, but you will become so much stronger for having done it.
 

Virgo: Your ruling planet, Mercury, begins the year retrograding in Capricorn.  You will likely be reviewing and altering plans related to your children, a lover, or personally creative pursuits.  By Feb you are ready to move forward.  Saturn is departing your sign and it will be a relief.  You have spent the past 3 year cycle working toward redefining who you want to become in the world.  The probability is that it was very costly, in more ways than one.  There is one more short visit from Saturn in April through June and then that project will be done.  The next cycle, beginning now, will help you to restore your financial underpinnings.  It is wise to remain frugal and replace savings before you spend.  You may feel the need to take a job that is less than gratifying for awhile in order to refill the coffers.  Remain in the background through the first half of the year.  Don't initiate or attack, lest the action cost more than it is worth.  If another takes the first punch, it will be fine to respond appropriately.  In Apr and May travel plans may be altered one or more times.  Legal interests may be stalled out here as well.  The normal pace returns through most of the summer.  In mid-August through Sep Mercury goes retrograde in your sign.  You likely will reverse a decision or two and feel unable to move forward on major agendas.  This is a time in which you should hold your tongue or use tact to the max.  The time to say your piece or begin a new physically taxing project is Nov.  Dec ends the year for you with Mercury retrograding, once more in Capricorn.  Some of the questions plaguing you at the beginning of the year will beg to be noticed again at the end of the year.

Libra:  During this year the Saturn/Pluto square represents dilemmas to your harmony.  Being "nice" to everyone is fatiguing you.  Your sense of identity must change.  Sometimes this requires that we be essentially alone while this happens.  You need to find the roots to which you belong, the real security beyond that which is apparent.  You may encounter multiple circumstances that bring up your painful history.  It will require practice in learning to control your ego/mind.  You are crossing a great channel in your life and you will grow toward maturity by leaving behind negative mental habit patterns.  Points of special punctuation are:  1-27 to 2-8, 3-1 to 3-11, 5-18 to 5-25, 8-6 to 9-20.  A revealing light shines upon one or more relationships in late Jan.  You will see what you have and what you have not.  You will continue onward with an open mind, and wait to see how things develop.  By the end of Mar, early Apr, the evidence is clear about what you have.  This is "as good as it gets" and it could be perfectly wonderful or very disappointing.  During the last third of August you will begin a fresh two year relationship cycle, one that is more closely based on who you are becoming.  During the last quarter of the year your planetary ruler, Venus, goes retrograde.  Be prepared for reduced resources or greater expenditures.  You may back off from a relationship, be interested in reviving an old relationship, or prefer to be alone.  This is your time to "see" your own relationship habits and break the outmoded patterns.
 

Scorpio: 
You are looking for a job or a career change as the year begins.  Unfortunately it will require about 3 months to find anything suitable.  Don't use up your savings in the meantime.  Accept whatever comes, even if it is not what you want.  You need to focus attention on a new education or job language.  This could require 2.5 -- 3 years to complete, but it will allow you to make a fresh start in your career life.  An opportunity comes your way in Mar-Apr.  It requires self-discipline, but you will be strong enough to manage it.  In late July through most of Sep. it is important to avoid being aggressive, lest it be turned against you.  You may, however, respond if others initiate action toward you first.  You will be tempted at this time to quit on an activity.  Think carefully first about whether the project is something you need in the long run.  Your planetary ruler, Mars, returns to your sign in mid-Sep. With it comes increased energy and a new will. This represents a time during which people will listen to you and you can make positive changes in your life.  The last quarter may bring you an opportunity take the first steps toward beginning the beckoning education.  During the last quarter Venus is retrograding in your sign.  You may back out of a relationship situation while you think.  Someone from the past may be heavily on your mind, but it is best not to pursue it.  You've grown way beyond it, but maybe you don't know that yet.
 

Sagittarius: 
The Archers have an exciting ride this year.  In mid-Jan your ruling planet, Jupiter, moves into Pisces.  You likely will be opening up to new ideas, philosophies, or other ways to express your spiritual leanings.  On the more physical level, you will travel even more than usual this year and  you will be drawn to doing things new and attractive about your home.  Another positive arena is that of  having good feelings about your family or a desire to make a baby.  Your income will be coming from a different source.  It is possible that the Powers That Be may reduce your hours or your salary, if it hasn't happened already.  Consider developing skills and resources in another field over the next couple of years.  You may feel increased responsibility related to friends and their welfare.  From June forward surprising twists and turns of fortune will be reshaping your life.  Early June may bring a love affair.  Certainly you will be "in love" with something or someone.  It is imperative that you use your energies toward the greater good and not toward the goal of self-aggrandizement.  If you support the greater good, fortune will go your way.  But if you are self absorbed, others will fight you at every turn during the summer.  Another positive twist develops in Sep and the advice is the same:  do what is the best for the most number of people.  During the second half of the year you have a great need to do things your way and outside of the box.  Be considerate of others to keep your freedom.
 

Capricorn: The year begins with Mercury retrograding in your sign until almost the end of Jan.  This and the dramatic square of Pluto and Saturn is tied to your identity and your career.  In Jan you are thinking about what is to be done.  It's manifestation depends on your stage in life.  At this time you may take on a career challenge greater than ever.  On the other hand, if you are older or totally bored with a situation, you may realize it is nearing time to let go of the reins.  The state of your health is key in this situation.  The next major step in your journey is challenging, at the very least.  Metamorphosis is at hand, representing a total transformation of your direction.  You are likely to be deeply assessing your true values and searching for a way to make them a priority, rather than being distracted by relatively meaningless activity that fills up time.  A shot to stardom does not happen now, but you may be creating the platform for the future.  The whole month of March is stressful with issues arising related to home, hearth, and family.  A sudden upheaval from this department of life may occur in early June.  This could represent the seed form of the upcoming search for your freedom.  From April to near the end of July you may find tags left from the last Saturn cycle in Virgo that need to be completed.  (That cycle had to do with education, writing for publication, business related travel, the internet, and all things legal.)  The second half of July and Sep brings an eye opener of an experience.  Decisions are pressured in Sep-Oct.  You may be pressed to do something you'd rather not.  During Dec Mercury is once again retrograding in your sign, causing you to rethink previous decisions.  You are recreating your life here.  It is not a walk in the park..
 

Aquarius:   Over the next couple of years you may be spending time traveling or working on a new education.  Issues of ethics and morals are presented for your contemplation.  Take your beliefs seriously and commit yourself to establish practical ways in which to manifest them. The arena may be legal, religious, philosophical or educational. You must apply what you  have learned spiritually to the secular world.  Talk won't cut it now.  The world requires that you expand your usual territory to include a larger social structure.  You must follow the proper path, lest your behavior become a public matter.  Any leftover demons or secrets from earlier in your life may surface for cleansing.  Revelation of old family secrets may alter your perspective about your personal history.  Feb brings a time of challenge.  It could be physical or emotional.  Concentrate on awareness of the Self, who cannot be damaged regardless of life's dramas.  Only the ego can be hurt.  In March you may be concerned with issues having to do with siblings, in-laws, roommates, or neighbors.  Sudden changes in one of these departments may alter your perspective altogether in June through mid-Aug.  In late Jul-early Aug you are confronted with the challenge to meet a worldly expectation that is only possible to manage in small bites.  The last quarter of the year is focused upon healing of yourself and others, on the physical or mental levels.  You will challenge the Abandonment Complex and may put it away forever.
 

Pisces: During the next two years, Saturn calls you to learn the rules of business.  Your attention may be required to assist one or more others to manage their finances, to learn the nitty gritty details of filing taxes, or to learn to manage your own financial picture much more efficiently.  This will be a good period to tackle internal roadblocks that interfere with your ability to achieve genuine emotional intimacy. Resources that have been shared with you by others may be reduced for a time.  Investments may reduce their value, but only for a couple of years.  Avoid dealing with insurance issues if possible because you may get caught in impossible  tangles of bureaucracy.  The first quarter of this year brings you heavy involvement in the mental or physical healing of yourself, others, and maybe both.  You will find that fearful people are attracted to your calm aura.  For the first five months you have the opportunity to expand your horizons through travel or via attraction of other people to you.  Even those of you who are shy will feel freer and more open.  If you need a favor from anyone, go in person to ask and the blessing will be granted.  Pay attention to your waistline during the first half of the year.  Also keep a close eye on your cash.  Avoid the use of credit cards.  In early June you attract an opportunity to ultimately increase your income.  This may come through the internet or the birth of an idea may spring from your imagination.  It is a brewing cauldron until Aug, when you think the opportunity has passed.   Lo and behold, in Sep the ideas and options come bubbling back.  During the last quarter of 2010 you will be once again healing yourself and others of old traumas.
